Poppy

The poppies are in full bloom here on the farm and the honey bees are a hoot to watch as they ball up the pollen and fly like drunken voyagers back to the hives. The lovely gal made it through the first critical 10 days, so we decided to name her Poppy! Her sweet disposition is a joy to be around as she politely, but insistently bumps me to hurry up and get the food into her bin! The girls work daily to relieve her of the winter coat she has been too weak to shed herself. She seems to love the attention!
