Changing Seasons

A “Barn Notes” is long overdue! After the summer camps concluded, we took a few months to let the horses (and ourselves) recharge and prepare for the Fall. We are back in the full swing of things and are loving every minute of it!

  • The after-school program has started again!

  • We have other students that come for individual sessions.

  • The Do More campaign is in full gear and the new pasture land has been prepared and the barn raising has begun! We were hoping to make a lot of progress today on the stalls, but the weather has thwarted us for the moment!

  • We are in full preparations for the Open House/Fundraiser on October 21! We hope people will come out to enjoy:

    • Horse Demonstrations put on by some of our participants (12:00 p.m.)

    • Used tack sale (all day)

    • Online auction - Closes at 8 p.m. on October 21st (see items and bid here),

    • The Great Carrot Races to win a homemade cake (buy tickets here) (1:00 p.m.)

    • Amazing food cooked by Nataline Viray-Fung

    • Good people!

  • We are hosting a clinic, “Supporting our Animals When the Time Comes,” where we will learn horse massage techniques and discuss end-of-life considerations. The event is free, but please RSVP here. Spots are limited to encourage a meaningful discussion.

  • Lastly, save the date! Michael and Julia Lyons are coming back on April 27-28, 2024, but this time for their Horsemanship Clinic!
